BRIEF HISTORY

Initiative for Integrity Award in Africa is a non-governmental organization created basically to foster integrity in governance and ensure true democracy in Africa and most especially Nigeria. Registered with the Federal Republic of Nigeria, it is an organization based on the principle of moral ethics with the major aim of promoting integrity and governance.

VISION:

To make Nigeria a pride among nations and Africa a peaceful place to live in.

MISSION STATEMENT:

We are a team driven by passion to promote people of integrity, encourage good, effective and equitable governance. Our mission, therefore, is to advocate for good, effective and equitable governance for the restoration of integrity and sanity to the Nigeria value system and Africa at large.

RATIONALE FOR INITIATIVE FOR INTEGRITY AWARD IN AFRICA:The need for this initiative emanated haven critically examined the level of degeneration in the regional and national level systems; high skills of humanistic regression and moral dissipation has debased the value of human life with devastating effect upon people sense of morality and the need to quickly reverse the intolerable and degrading conditions
